RJ Konner, a longtime Ridgewood resident, brings to Christie's International Real Estate Group a wealth of knowledge in salesmanship. Understanding the very best in sales, RJ became a licensed Realtor-Associate® with over 25 years of experience specializing in both residential and commercial properties. For RJ, sales have always been second nature as he began his career in the early ‘70s buying and selling automobiles. He was a successful third-generation automobile dealer at numerous family-owned Malcolm Konner dealerships throughout Essex, Morris, and Bergen Counties, known as the "World's Largest Corvette Dealer." In 1985, his accomplishments were recognized by the Automobile Hall of Fame when he was awarded the Young Leadership & Excellence Award - an honor bestowed to only one individual each year throughout the entire United States. RJ is a Life Member of the Automotive Hall of Fame. 

RJ is a member of the Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR), the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS), and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Ridgewood Guild, a current member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity AEA, a past member of Rotary International, and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Paramus Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Community Center of Paramus, a graduate of Roanoke College, and a life member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.                         

In 2007, due to his love of film, RJ caught the acting bug and decided to pursue a long-desired path in the film industry, both as an actor and producer. To date, RJ has appeared in over 85 feature films, multiple TV series, and various commercials, working with some of the top directors, cinematographers, and actors in the movie industry. RJ has been on the Board of Directors of the Ridgewood Guild International Film Festival committee for the past 15 years.

RJ is known throughout the Village of Ridgewood as a guy who never said no to community service or philanthropy. His experiences as an active five-year participant in the Ridgewood Jamboree charity event, an eight-year Ridgewood High School "Band Parent," and fundraiser for various charities within the community gave RJ the opportunity to forge deep relationships in multiple sectors.

You can see RJ around town in his vintage Corvette or having coffee with local friends. RJ is father to three grown children who have all graduated from Ridgewood High School.
